Location

Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, is a captivating blend of medieval charm and modern innovation. Its UNESCO-listed Old Town enchants visitors with cobbled streets, Gothic spires, and centuries-old architecture, while the city’s vibrant tech scene has earned it the nickname “the Silicon Valley of Europe.” Overlooking the Baltic Sea, Tallinn offers a unique mix of history, culture, and creativity, making it a hub for entrepreneurs, artists, and travelers alike. Whether wandering through ancient alleyways or enjoying the city’s dynamic cafés and digital-forward lifestyle, Tallinn seamlessly bridges the past and the future.

Located right on the edge of the old town, The Estonian Chamber of People with Disabilities will be our venue location.

How to get to Tallinn

Getting to Tallinn from abroad is easy, as the city is well-connected by air, sea, and land. Here are the main options:

✈ By Air
  • Tallinn Airport (Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport, TLL) is the main international gateway, offering direct flights from many European cities, including London, Paris, Frankfurt, Helsinki, Stockholm, and Amsterdam. The airport is just 4 km from the city center, with taxis, trams, and buses providing quick transfers.
  • You can also fly to Riga (Latvia) and take a bus or train to Tallinn.
⛴ By Ferry

Tallinn has excellent ferry connections across the Baltic Sea:

  • From Helsinki (Finland) – Frequent ferries (2-3 hours)
  • From Stockholm (Sweden) – Overnight ferry (14-17 hours)
🚆🚌 By Land
  • By Bus – Long-distance buses connect Tallinn with Baltic cities Riga (Latvia) and Vilnius (Lithuania). Operators like FlixBus and Lux Express provide comfortable travel.
  • By Train – There is a limited international train service, but once day there is a connection with Baltic cities Riga (Latvia) and Vilnius (Lithuania)

Accommodation

Although Tallinn is not a big city, we recommend looking into accommodation in the city center, closer to Old Town. There is a very good selection on Booking.com and AirBnB. Ask organisers for recommendations.
